The Neutec/USA® Advantage
In designing the Neutec PulsePoint™ laser welding machines, Neutec engineers took a long, careful look at existing laser welders. It seemed most machines were adding more and more joules in the attempt to get sufficient power to the workpiece. We wanted to step back and take a look at how each joule of power got to the workpiece and streamline that journey to be as efficient and cost-effective as possible.

  • High-efficiency PulsePoint™ optics enable a higher-duty cycle output (average power) with fewer joules. For example: most 100- to 120-joule machines without this engineering produce 35–50 watts of average power; the 100-joule PulsePoint™ 200 delivers 75 watts of average power.
  • Dual-pedal (one air, one laser) foot control allows hand-free firing of the PulsePoint™ laser pulse as well as hands-free activation of cooling air and nitrogen gas. Nitrogen gas can be set to flow when pressing the laser pedal.
  • Energy is transferred from the PulsePoint™ power source to the target with the least loss.
  • Super-high refractive index built into the PulsePoint™ optics delivers more energy to the target piece.
  • Built with Neutec higher-efficiency components, the PulsePoint™ runs cooler with less stress to critical-wear parts—they deliver a significantly longer service life and need less maintenance than other laser welders.
  • With excess energy reduced due to more efficient design, flash lamps can deliver up to twice as many pulses as those in systems with lower efficiency.
  • The stabilized PulsePoint™ light path designed by the engineers at Neutec requires no adjustment.
  • The PulsePoint™ ensures tight, repeatable control over lens parameters to ensure dependable, repeatable results.

Advanced Ergonomics
The advanced ergonomics built into the PulsePoint™ laser welders minimize physical stress to the operator and maximize effective use of floor space.

Use the PulsePoint™ to:

• Repair heirlooms, stone-set jewelry, timepieces and fragile or intricate components—even eyeglasses.

• Repair metal defects, such as porosity, in cast pieces.

• Reduce the need for torches and soldering—especially for production runs.

• Create seamless welds—even multiple welds—with no off-color solder joints.

• Ensure a safe, toxic-free work environment.

Service
The PulsePoint™ delivers the long-lasting service and reliability that is the trademark of Neutec. Each PulsePoint is made using quality components and materials. The Neutec/USA PulsePoint is equally at home in a large manufacturing facility or a one-bench repair shop, working to help you expand your business while reducing costs for both labor and material. Hotline technical service and support from knowledgeable experts is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

Training
Specialized operator training is available with your PulsePoint™ laser welder for a reasonable fee. Neutec/USA®-certified technicians will visit your facility and train your operators in the basic use and daily maintenance of the PulsePoint. Or, you may choose to send your technicians to a Neutec-certified training facility for two days of hands-on training in basic use, daily maintenance, long-term maintenance and consumable replacement procedures.
