NeuSprue Advanced Sprue System

NeuSprue™ is an important component in the Neutec/ USA systematic approach to casting. Its revolutionary patented design adds to the advantage that a Neutec casting machine puts into your hands. The NeuSprue sprue, with its built-in button and aerodynamic shape, facilitates a faster, more complete fill. The two-part base section, consisting of a threaded plastic holder and a bevel-edged rubber base, creates a snug, airtight fit over the flask.

Here’s a tool every caster needs to make spruing efficient and accurate. The NeuSprue tree fixture is fully adjustable to hold your sprue base at just the right working angle. Tilt the fixture up or down—even turn it around 360°. You get perfect visibility and access to all sides of the tree. You can bolt the base to your bench or work surface for convenience and stability, or you can bolt it to a smaller block and have the universal features in a portable unit.

A stationary stand makes it difficult to gain access to all sides of the tree for effective spruing. Removing your finished tree without damage can be a challenge, too!		You can turn your tree in any and every direction for unhindered access to every side with the NeuSprue universal treeing fixture. Remove the tree easily by releasing the clamp.


	As convential buttons wear, their edges erode, leaving tiny spaces that trap air bubbles and can cause casting defects during the pour.		You get a fresh connection every time you build a NeuSprue tree and, because the button is part of the sprue, there are no pockets to trap air.

	Peeling the rubber base and button away from the flask distorts the wax sprue and patterns, stressing and breaking the investment.		The plastic holder is simply unscrewed and removed, and the base comes away with very little stress on your patterns or the investment.

	The edge of bowl-shaped reservoir deflects metal from the main sprue. The churning slows the fill and allows the metal to cool too quickly.		A funnel-shaped reservoir directs metal into the main sprue with a minimum of interference, preserving heat and increasing fill speed.
	Our patented Neusprue™ wax formula reliably holds its shape through the treeing process, then burns out cleanly and completely leaving smooth, crisp patterns. The wax will not absorb into investment, ensuring cleaner surfaces and higher quality castings. As shown in the above cross-section of our test mold, the pattern wax migrated into the surrounding investment while the dark blue NeuSprue™ sprue did not.
