Laser-weight wire is round, dead soft, fine-gauge wire that is the ideal weight for all your laser-welding applications.
Platinum and gold wires are 34-gauge; titanium and Argentium® sterling wire are 30-gauge; stainless
steel wire is 32-gauge. All wire except stainless steel are wound onto a special protective spool (see inset below).
Sterling silver solder is extra-hard, 30-gauge, 80% silver. Platinum wire is 95% platinum/5% ruthenium. Titanium wire is Grade 1 pure. Sterling.platinum wire is 95% sterling and 5% platinum; it delivers an easier flow and a stronger joint to sterling designs. White gold wire is nickel-free palladium white.
